Le gare di Pattinaggio di Velocità, si svolsero nel Lago ghiacciato di Misurina, distante alcuni chilometri da Cortina d'Ampezzo, tra il 28 ed il 31 gennaio. Quattro le gare in calendario: 500, 1500, 5000 e 10000 metri tutti maschili. Per queste gare vennero stampati quattro biglietti, uno per ogni gara.
The Speed Skating competitions took place on the frozen Lake Misurina, located a few kilometers from Cortina d'Ampezzo, between January 28 and 31. Four events were on the schedule: the 500, 1,500, 5,000, and 10,000-meter races, all for men. Four tickets were printed for these events, one for each race.
Per il torneo di Hockey su Ghiaccio, che si disputò allo Stadio di Cortina, in dieci giorni con partita che si giocavano mattina, pomeriggio e sera, per un totale di 33 partite e al quale parteciparono 10 nazioni, vennero stampati 153.000 biglietti a pagamento.
For the Ice Hockey tournament, which was played at the Cortina Stadium, over ten days with matches played morning, afternoon and evening, for a total of 33 matches and in which 10 nations participated, 153,000 paid tickets were printed.

Quale prudenziale riserva, da tenere disponibile per qualsiasi evenienza, come il palazzo dello sport di Bolzano ed altri impianti, oppure manifestazioni accessorie, sono stati fatti stampare altri biglietti in carta normale non filigranata. Tuttavia, poiché tutto procedette regolarmente, i predetti biglietti non furono utilizzati per i Giochi e servirono, per molto tempo, a vantaggio delle manifestazioni organizzate dopo il periodo olimpico, allo Stadio del Ghiaccio.
As a prudential reservation, to be kept available in any eventuality, such as the Bolzano sports hall and other facilities, or ancillary events, other tickets were printed on plain, non-watermarked paper. However, since everything proceeded regularly, the aforementioned tickets were not used for the Games and served, for a long time, to the advantage of the events organised after the Olympic period, at the ice stadium.
Vennero infine stampati 100 esemplari per ogni tipo (Biglietti ordinari, Biglietti ad Invito e Abbonamenti), destinati alle collezioni e per l'archivio

L'ultimo biglietto ordinario utilizzato fu quello della Cerimonia di Chiusura, come per quella di Apertura svoltasi allo Stadio del Ghiaccio il 5 febbraio 1956. Anche in questa serie, ognuno dei quattro settori dello Stadio era evidenziato attraverso un colore ed i posti nei vari settori con una lettera. I prezzi andavano dai 1000 lire della GRADINATA LATERALE ai 4000 lire per la GALLERIA NUMERATA
The last ordinary ticket used was that of the Closing Ceremony, as for the Opening Ceremony held at the Ice Stadium on 5 February 1956. In this series too, each of the four sectors of the Stadium was highlighted by a color and the seats in the various sectors by a letter. Prices ranged from 1000 lire for the SIDE STEP to 4000 lire for the NUMBERED GALLERY
