Dopo che la fiaccola olimpica lasciò il luogo d’origine in Grecia, iniziò un lungo viaggio che condusse il mondo intero a Torino, dove il suo arrivo ha illuminato le celebrazioni dei XX Giochi Olimpici Invernali - Torino 2006. Il Logo del Viaggio della Fiamma di Torino 2006 racconta la storia di questo viaggio.
After the Olympic torch left its place of origin in Greece, it began a long journey that took the entire world to Turin, where its arrival illuminated the celebrations of the XX Olympic Winter Games - Turin 2006. The Logo of the Journey of the Flame of Turin 2006 tells the story of this journey.
Incorniciate dall’arco – elegante riferimento ai portici, che rappresentano una delle caratteristiche salienti della città - le linee fluide e solide dell’atleta che porta la fiaccola, enfatizzano lo spirito umano che sta alla base dell’evento olimpico. Grazie alle sue trasparenze, alle forme e ai colori sovrapposti, il logo Viaggio della Fiamma coglie inoltre l’energia di una città e di un paese definita dai suoi peculiari contrasti: giorno e notte, città e montagna, ghiaccio e neve – un luogo in cui elementi diversi si uniscono per creare nuove atmosfere. Il logo Viaggio della Fiamma offre, unitamente al Look of the Games, un’interpretazione moderna dello spirito italiano, esprimendo al tempo stesso gli ideali universali (amicizia, lealtà, pace) dei Giochi Olimpici.
Framed by the arch – an elegant reference to the porticoes, which represent one of the city's salient features - the fluid and solid lines of the athlete carrying the torch emphasize the human spirit that underlies the Olympic event. Thanks to its transparencies, overlapping shapes and colors, the Viaggio della Fiamma logo also captures the energy of a city and a town defined by its peculiar contrasts: day and night, city and mountain, ice and snow – a place where different elements come together to create new atmospheres.
