Medaglie e Trofei
MILANO-CORTINA 2026 MUSEUM > MEMORABILIA
Paniè, Direttrice Brand “Identity and Look of the Games”, le medaglie sono
Created by a talented design team led by Raffaella Paniè, Brand Director “Identity and Look of the Games”, the medals are minimalist and elegant, drawing inspiration from the traditions of Italian avant-garde design. The 2026 medals were conceived as two interconnected halves, joined by Olympic rings or Paralympic agitos, and are a visual metaphor for the journey each athlete embarks on: one half represents the competitor, the other symbolizes the people who helped them get there. A symbolic gesture that also recalls the uniqueness of the Milan Cortina Games, the first winter Games hosted by two different cities and spread across a wide area.
“With our medals, we celebrate
the strength of differences: two unique halves joined through the Olympic and
Paralympic symbols to create a strong and unified message,” said Paniè.
“Victory is never a solitary moment; it’s built through collective strength,
support and unity.”
