La Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, che si è occupata dell’organizzazione dei XXV Giochi Olimpici Invernali, per scegliere il logo della manifestazione indisse una votazione online. Durante l’ultima serata del Festival di Sanremo del 2025, Federica Pellegrini e Alberto Tomba, insieme al presentatore Amadeus, svelarono i due possibili loghi dei Giochi italiani. Per la prima volta nella storia, il simbolo è stato scelto dalla gente. Pellegrini ha invitato gli spettatori a votare per “Futura”, Tomba per “Dado”. Il primo richiama con diverse tonalità di grigio chiaro i colori della neve e mostra il famoso logo con i cinque cerchi delle Olimpiadi. Il secondo è più colorato, mostra un fiocco di neve stilizzato ed il numero “26” con il verde e il rosso della bandiera italiana.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation, which organized the XXV Olympic Winter Games, held an online vote to choose the event's logo. During the final evening of the 2025 Sanremo Music Festival, Federica Pellegrini and Alberto Tomba, along with presenter Amadeus, revealed the two possible logos for the Italian Games. For the first time in history, the symbol was chosen by the people. Pellegrini invited viewers to vote for “Future”, Tomb for “Dado”. The first recalls the colors of snow with different shades of light gray and shows the famous logo with the five Olympic circles. The second is more colorful, showing a stylized snowflake and the number “26” with the green and red of the Italian flag.
Alla fine delle votazioni il logo scelto fu quello di “Futura”, composto dai numeri 2 e 6 color ghiaccio, che ha battuto il concorrente “Dado” che rappresentava un dado con i numeri 2 e 6 di colore rosso e verde, avvolto in un fiocco di neve azzurro stilizzato. La versione del logo per i Giochi Paralimpici sarà poi una variante colorata del logo, sfumato in rosso, azzurro e verde, i colori del comitato Paralimpico. AL Comitato Organizzatore arrivarono 850 mila voti, Futura vinse su Dado con il 75% delle preferenze.
At the end of the voting, the logo chosen was that of “Futura”, composed of the ice-colored numbers 2 and 6, which beat the competitor “Dado” which represented a die with the red and green numbers 2 and 6, wrapped in a stylized blue snowflake. The version of the logo for the Paralympic Games will then be a colored variant of the logo, shaded in red, blue and green, the colors of the Paralympic committee. The Organizing Committee received 850,000 votes, with Futura winning over Dado with 75% of the vote..
