PISTA CANALONE - CANALONE TRACK
Fu scelta quella del famoso «Canalone», sul fianco della Tofana, considerata una pista ormai classica e la più rinomata della zona. Qui furono sufficienti modesti lavori di livellamento, perché in pratica tutto il terreno era già preparato da molti anni. Il tracciato partiva da quota 2.114 metri con arrivo a quota 1.612 metri. La lunghezza risultò di metri 1.552 con un dislivello di 502 m. Porte impiegate: 20. Questa pista, come del resto anche quella maschile, aveva il grande vantaggio che poteva essere vista anche da Cortina. Era il percorso di gara più libero, anche se molto difficile; da cima a fondo non c'era un albero e la discesa presentava un andamento quasi rettilineo, spezzato unicamente dalle porte di controllo.

The one on the famous «Canalone», on the side of the Tofana, was chosen, considered a now classic and the most renowned track in the area. Modest levelling works were sufficient here, because in practice all the land had already been prepared for many years. The route started from an altitude of 2,114 metres and finished at an altitude of 1,612 metres. The length was 1,552 meters with a difference in altitude of 502 m. Doors used: 20. This track, like the men's track, had the great advantage that could also be seen from Cortina. It was the freest, though very difficult, race course; there was no tree from top to bottom, and the descent was almost straight, broken only by the control doors.
