Anche a Napoli, dove si sono svolte le regate di vela, furono effettuati lavori di ammodernamento e potenziamento: furono resi efficienti e sicuri i porticciuoli di Molosiglio, Santa Lucia, Mergellina e Posillipo, mediante la costruzione di moli sopraflutto e sottoflutto, la escavazione dei fondali, la creazione di nuove darsene e di banchine interne, vennero sistemate le scogliere e sistemate le strutture già esistenti.
Modernization and strengthening work was also carried out in Naples, where the sailing regattas were held: the small ports of Molosiglio, Santa Lucia, Mergellina, and Posillipo were made efficient and safe by building overflow and underflow piers, excavating the seabed, creating new docks and internal docks, repairing the cliffs, and renovating existing structures.
